Dr. Dayna Schultz is a Native Hawaiian survivor of trauma who has turned her struggle into strength in the efforts of helping others in their healing journey. Dr. Dayna Schultz has earned a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, along with a Master’s level License in Social work and am a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor in the State of Hawaii. Through her journey Dr. Schultz has been blessed with the opportunity to work with diverse ethnic and socio-economic populations, however, has a passion for working with survivors of Domestic Violence along with the trauma and addiction population. Dr. Schultz believes that everyone has a story to tell and possess the ability to change their narrative as they grow. I welcome individuals to share their stories with me in a safe space and at their own pace. I provide a sense of warmth, compassion and Aloha that fosters a “Kakoū” (together) effort to remind each individual that I will be walking with them on this healing journey. I offer an eclectic approach to therapy which includes a combination of Indigenous Culture, and Holistic practice, along with Western models such as psychodynamic, CBT, Person Centered, solution focused approaches while always maintaining a Trauma Informed Care lens.
